My Christmas Mantel

Nov 29, 2012

I made a few small changes this year by adding mercury glass candlesticks, new stocking holders, and fresh cedar branches.

  2. Beautiful! And how do you get such great photos? I can NEVER take photos of lights and have them come out well!

    1. Thank you! I won't lie. Taking these pictures were so difficult in the dark with the flash off. I just took a ton of pictures and thankfully a few out of what feels like 100 turned out. My family was there to witness it last night and they now officially think I'm nuts ;)

  3. Love the mantle with all the mercury glass. I think I've got to add some poinsettias to my mantle now. Just gorgeous.

    1. Thank you. I've used poinsettas for years in my garland because it makes such a big impact for little $. The mercury glass is new and I love how it looks, so I'm sure I'll be using it for years to come.
